Aidan Strangeman (Aidan Comerford) is an Irish musical comedian based in Ashbourne, Co. Meath. He began writing comedy songs in 2009 and eventually formed a double act called The Guilty Folk in 2010. As part of that act he performed his songs in the Vicar Street comedy show Singlehood in 2013. Aidan's first solo comedy show debuted in 2014.
In 2014 he was a quarter-finalist in the Musical Comedy Awards, and won the annual So You Think You’re Funny? new talent hunt at the Edinburgh Fringe, taking home a £5,000 first prize as well as the kudos of joining a list of winners that includes Tommy Tiernan, Peter Kay, David O’Doherty, Dylan Moran, Aisling Bea and Lee Mack.
"Stand back everyone, Aidan Strangeman has a bomb: A musical comedy bomb! You'll be hilariously maimed by his destructively catchy songs before you finally succumb to horrific, rib-shattering happiness. You're welcome. Front row not recommended."
