Brendan Murphy

Brendan attended drama school at Arts Ed London where he gained a Bachelor of Arts in Acting and subsequently went on to train in Improvisation with Second City and Improv Olympic alumni David Shore. He was nominated for the Spotlight Prize in 2008.
Co-founder of The One Hour Plays, Brendan has toured several major UK arts festivals including Latitude, Bestival, Secret Garden Party and currently curates End Of The Road Festival's theatre line-up.
Since meeting as writer/performers on the Guinness World Record breaking NewsRevue, he has performed in numerous sketches and songs alongside musical comedian Jenny Bede including the BBC Online Comedy Feed Jenny Bede: AAA. Their 2014 Edinburgh Fringe show Bren & Jenny: Hello! was named by Such Small Portions as one of their Edinburgh Picks - Sketch Acts.
Since 2014, Brendan has been a core member of international, long-form improv group The Bishop (alongside members of Austentatious, Boom Chicago, Monkey Toast and The Show Stoppers) and regularly performs with award-winning short-form group BattleActs.
